Each Home Inspector Pro user has a user name and password for the Home Inspector Pro Cloud Service assigned for their use. This user name and password may have been assigned at the time of your Home Inspector Pro purchase, or when your Home Inspector Pro installation was configured.
Your Home Inspector Pro login details are stored in your Home Inspector Pro license, so this information will need to be re-entered if a new user license is loaded in the software.
If you are unsure of your Home Inspector Pro user name and password, please contact Home Inspector Pro Support to verify your user name and password. This user name and password is used in the Home Inspector Pro desktop program, the HIP Mobile app (on Android and iPad/iPhone), and the Home Inspector Pro web site.
In the Home Inspector Pro desktop application:
- Go to the Internet menu, then select HIP Login Information.
- Enter your Home Inspector Pro Cloud Service user name and password.
- Click OK.
To confirm your user name and password was properly entered:
- Click on the Mobile Sync button on the far-right of the toolbar.
- Click on View Templates.
If a list of templates is displayed, or a message saying 'No templates found in the Cloud' is displayed, this indicates your user name and password was entered correctly. If an error message indicating 'Login Failed...' is displayed, repeat the steps to re-enter your user name and password. If the problem continues, please contact Home Inspector Pro Support for further assistance.
