How to Pause or Put an Order on Hold in HIP

Pausing or putting an order on hold in HIP allows you to temporarily halt the order's progress so it can be rescheduled or resumed later. Follow the steps below to pause an order:

Steps to Pause an Order

  1. Open the HIP application and navigate to the Orders section.

  2. Locate the specific order you want to pause by selecting View Order from the menu.

  3. Once the order details are displayed, look for the Pause option.

  4. Click the Pause button to place the order on hold.

This action will successfully pause the order, allowing you to manage it at a later time. The order will remain on hold until you decide to resume or reschedule it.

  • Pausing an order does not cancel it; the order can be resumed or rescheduled as needed.
