Home Inspector Pro v6.9

The following items were changed in Home Inspector Pro desktop version 6.9 and later.

The changes listed below apply to Windows and macOS versions of the program, unless otherwise noted.

HIP Desktop v6.9

New Features:

  • Cloud-based Template Sharing: Share your templates between devices, and between multiple users without sending files. All changes are now made under the Cloud Sync icon in the toolbar.

    The Cloud Sync button replaces the Mobile Sync button.

Multiple Cover Page Designs: Support has been added for multiple cover pages available to be used per template. When generating reports, you will now have an option to choose which cover page design to use for the current report.

Select the Cover Page Design to use on the Generate Report screen.

Design Changes

  • Automatic Backup of HZF Inspection Files: For users of HIP Office, ISN, and HIP Office Lite (when orders are imported), HZF inspection files are now automatically backed up to your account when the report is uploaded to the cloud.

Bug Fixes

  • Template Bundles: Stationery files are now included if stored outside the HIP program folders.

  • Template Bundles: Template bundles no longer prompt for the same files repeatedly when importing bundles.

  • Template Bundles: Linked PDFs are now included in template bundles.

  • Template Bundles: Linked Images are now restored to their subfolders when templates are loaded.

  • Added Debug Mode option in Application Settings for use by HIP support.

  • Removed support for NxtInspekt

  • Reports are now properly generated if the State field is blank.

  • The form used by the FL WDO Form 13645 template has been updated to include the current FL Department of Agriculture commissioner.

  • When Sections are duplicated on HIP Mobile, formatting for the Table of Contents is now transfered to the desktop.

  • Formatting of the report footer is now applied correctly for all head/footer layouts.

  • Settings for HTML v2 reports are now properly maintained when saving templates.

  • External links included in report narratives are now properly clickable.

  • Spacing between sections on the report is now increased when the report is set to generate report pages continuously.

  • Font settings for Selection Description Font and Selection Description #2 Font are now individually saved to the template.

  • On the Edit Template screen, section folders can now be collapsed.

  • In the Address Book screen, the button to Sync Agents now properly reflects if the users is using HIP Office or HIP Office Lite.
