When doing an inspection for a multiunit property, the best method is to do a report for the outside combined building, then an individual report for each unit.

With HIP Office Lite, you will need to create an order prior to the upload. This is so during the upload you know everything goes to the same order.

Otherwise you have to manually upload the individual reports to the Order in HIP Office Lite after uploading the main report.

2. Go to Orders/New Order Wizard and walk through the order creation. If you don't want to handle the contracts with HIP Office Lite, you can turn off the Inspection booked email on the second to last page of the Order Wizard.

3. Then you'll want to import the Client Information to either the mobile or to the Computer, so that the inspection is tied to the order. This will be done for all the inspections.

4. Upload the Report to HIP Office Lite, the menu will look different as it will be tied to an already created order.

5. Then you can upload the individual reports the same way, except you will check the box for Additional report. This will put the individual inspections in under supplemental reports in the order.

The alternative is to just upload the report as you normally do without creating an order, then going to http://hipoffice.homeinspectorpro.com and logging in.

1. Then going to Orders/View Orders and clicking on the order associated with the address of that report.

2. Then click on Reports.

3. Then click on Supplemental Reports.

4. Then click on Upload Supplemental Report

5. Give the Report a Title.

6. Add the generated PDF of the next report.

7. Choose to do the HTML version or not.

8. Click Upload.

9. The Report Uploaded Emails will go out. The client will have a link to click in the email that takes them to a landing page. On this page, they can see the Primary Report and the Supplemental Reports.
