How to Set Page Number Formatting

Note: Page numbering is always set to on but occasionally you may find that they are not showing. This is typically due to white font set on a white page. Open the template or inspection file you want to change before proceeding.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: In HIP Desktop browse to Report Settings->Formatting.

Step 2: Locate the option for Footer Font.

Step 3: Set the Footer Font Color to your desired color and click OK.

Note: If editing a TREC Template or Report you will also need to set the Footer background color to White.

Step 4: Browse to Report Settings->Section Colors and Print Order.

Step 5: Click the Inherit from Formatting button and then click Close. Note: This will apply all formatting settings. You may want to review all the settings or use the method below.

Note: You may also change the page numbers 1 at a time if needed to preserve your other formatting settings. This is important if you use a system where each section has its own colors for instance. On the section Colors and Print Order Screen, you may use the Icons for the Footer Font to set each section individually. Once done, click Close and save the inspection/template.

Step 6: Save your template and do a complete sync to mobile.
