This article covers the process for creating Template Bundles. Template Bundles are a Home Inspector Pro file used for sharing the .tpz template files, along with all related files associated with the template.

Note: This feature requires Home Inspector Pro version 6.8.6 or later.

Template Bundles include the following files:

  • The selected Home Inspector Pro template file.

  • Associated PDF documents.

  • Associated PDF forms.

  • Images linked to narratives.

  • PDFs linked to narratives.

  • Section introduction Documents.

  • Embedded Cover Page Designs.

  • PDF Stationery files.

To create Template Bundles:

  1. Make all necessary changes to your template.

  2. When complete, click Save Template, then Save.

  3. Go to the File menu and click Create Template Bundle.

  4. From the list of templates, select the template you would like to distribute.

  5. Click Select.

  6. When prompted for the location to save the Template Bundle, select the folder location.

  7. The existing template name will automatically be included. If you would like to use another file name, change the text in the File name field.

  8. Click Save.

The Template Bundle file (.tpzx) will then be saved in the location you have specified. This file can then be emailed or shared to another user.

Instructions on Loading Template Bundles can be found here.
