Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: In HIP Desktop, open the form fill template Wind Mitigation v2.2.

Step 2: Fill in your template by making selections in the comment panels like normal.

Step 3: For Photos, set both dropdowns in the Location tab to Wind Mit Photos.

Step 4: Once your comments are all selected and all your photos are labeled, click on Insert PDF Documents.

Step 5: Click on the Fill and Print Form button.

Step 6: Click on the Populate Form button. This will bring your selections from the template into the form. Go through and double check the selections.

Step 7: Click on the Save Form button. If you get a pop up about text being Truncated, click Save Anyway.

Step 8: Generate your report and be sure the only box checked in the Print column is Wind Mit Photos.

​Step 9: Once you are comfortable with the process, you can check the Populate Form button instead of having to use the Fill and Print Form button in Insert PDF Documents.

Step 10: The system will generate the standard Wind Mitigation Form.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

The form is blank when printed. The key steps are to Populate and Save the form in form filler. Make sure those steps were followed. If you still have issues, contact support.
