While most inspectors prefer to use the same formatting for all sections, some inspectors may want to format the report so that sections are formatted individually. This would be useful for things like color coding your sections.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: In HIP Desktop, open the template you want to edit and click on Report Settings and then Section Colors and Print Order.

Step 2: In the Section Colors and Print Order screen, each section will have its own icons for formatting. The small icons are for formatting text, the color blocks are for formatting background colors, and Section Icons can be added by clicking the folder icons.

Step 3: Click on the setting you wish to edit. Make your selections and click OK or Save.

As with any change to your template, save your template and fully sync to mobile as needed.
