Setting Layout Options in HIP Desktop

This article explains how to set different layout options inside HIP Desktop.

Quick Summary

The Layout Options will determine how the report looks when generated as far as spacing and how some information is displayed. Some of the options must be enabled for the Texas TREC inspection template.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Click on Report Settings and then Options. The tab should open to the Layout section.

Step 2: For Texas, the required options are labeled. If you are outside of Texas, you can use these options except the Texas Format Cover Page if you wish. The Texas Cover Page Format adds a specific form needed in Texas that is not applicable anywhere else.

Step 3: Check or set the dropdown for any options you would like for the layout. You can also rename the Summary or Table of Contents titles here.

Step 5: Once your options here are set, you should generate a report to see how the changes have altered the look of the report. Once you are satisfied with your changes, save your template and fully sync to HIP Mobile as needed.
