HIP has incorporated AI into HIP Office and HIP Desktop to help with tasks like generating emails and translating reports into a different language. While AI is a helpful tool, it is still a new technology. Make sure to proofread any AI generated emails for accuracy and to ensure it creates wording you are comfortable with.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: In HIP Office, navigate to the Email Templates and create or choose an Email Template to Edit as normal and outlined in the Creating and Editing Emails Knowledge Base Article.
Step 2: Locate and click the Button labeled Click here if you would like to utilize AI to help write your email.
Step 3: In the AI Prompt box, type in the kind of email you would like and fill in the bubble for the tone of the email and click generate. If you would like to Retry, click Clear Body and type a new prompt to repeat the process.
Step 4: The AI generator will create an email based on your input. To add to the template, click Insert in Email Editor.
Step 5: The AI generated email will be inserted into the normal Email Template Editor. You can further edit the text and add recipients to the To:, CC:, or BCC fields as needed. Once satisfied with the contents, click Save.
Troubleshooting
There have not been any reported issues using the AI generator. If you encounter any issues contact support.

Are there any limits to using the AI generator? While the feature is robust, there are limits to what kind of emails and the language it will produce in this setting. For instance, even if you tried, it would likely not produce any emails with any kind of inappropriate language that would get you in trouble with a client.
