Generating an HTMLv2 Version of an Inspection Report

Note: HTML v2 requires HIP v6.8.3 or higher. The previous generation HTML version can still be used by selecting v1 when generating your report.

For HIP Office

Step 1: Open the Inspection you are wanting to generate the HTML version of.

Step 2: Click on the “Generate Report” button, as you normally would, to make sure all sections needed are selected.

Step 3: Click on the “Upload Report” button.

Step 3: Click Upload Report via HIP Office.

Step 4: Click on Create and send report for current inspection.

Upload to HIP Office Lite

Step 1: To upload to HIP Office Lite, click on the “Upload Report” button.

Step 2: Click on Upload Report to Client via HIP Office Lite.

If sending the Report without an order already in HIP Office Lite. You’ll want to check the box to do the HTMLv2 version of the report along with the PDF. Then, select the Create and send report for current inspection.

If uploading a report with an order created in HIP Office Lite. The box will already be checked, so you’ll just need to select the Create and send report for current inspection.

Uploading to ISN

Step 1: Click on the “Upload Report” button.

Note: HIP Office Lite is required to do the HTMLv2 Upload.

Step 2: Then Click on Upload Inspection to ISN.

Step 3: Select the Create and send report for current inspection.

Note: HTMLv2 is set as the default, and sending the HTML version of the report with the PDF is locked to on.

To View the HTMLv2 version of the report, you’ll need to go to HIP Office, HIP Office Lite, or ISN, open the Order, then go to where the reports are shown.

For HIP Office or HIP Office Lite

Step 1: Go to the “Report” tab of the Order Details.

Step 2: Hover over the shield Icon under the HTML column and right-click (control+click if on Mac) to open the HTML site.

ISN

Step 1: Open the Order and scroll to the bottom. Click on the “web url” link to open the HTML View.
