Ratings are used in reports to give a grade to specific panel sections in the report. Ratings have limited space for the tag, and it is recommended to keep your rating tags at 5-6 characters or under. You can also use icons for ratings rather than tags. HIP desktop comes with some ratings icons. You can also download your own. If you download your own, the icons should be sized at 64 x 64 or 128 x 128 pixels.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Click on report Settings and then Ratings.

Step 2: To turn Ratings on or off in the report, check/uncheck the box for Include ratings in the Report.

Step 3: To use Rating Icons Instead of Rating Names, check the box labeled Use Ratings Icons Instead of Rating Name. Note: An icon for each rating must be set first.

Step 4: To Change the name of a Rating, double-click the Rating you wish to change.

Step 5: To Change a Rating icon, click on the icon you want to replace and select the icon you want to use from your File Browser and click Open.

Step 6: Click the Ratings Options tab at the top of the Ratings Window. Here you can set options for the Ratings Names or the Ratings Icons to make them appear as you would like in the report.

Step 7: Once you are finished editing your Ratings click the Done button in the bottom right corner.

Note: Remember to Save your Template so the changes are saved for future reports. Sync the newly saved template to your mobile device as needed.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Icon too large: Ensure your Icons are sized 64 x 64 pixels or 128 x 128 pixels.

Ratings Names wrap oddly so appear misspelled or messy: Try to keep your rating names to 6 characters or under. This is the maximum for a single line.
