HIP Office can integrate with Google calendar so that items created in HIP are synced to Google Calendar and items created in Google will sync to the HIP Office Calendar. This is useful for easily blocking time in HIP office for other activities and keeping all your scheduling in one place.

Quick Summary

Note: Integrating HIP Office and Google Calendar will allow you to sync both calendars. In Google Calendar items placed on the Calendar have the status Busy or Free that can be applied. The Busy Status will block the time inside HIP Office while Free will still allow inspections to be booked during that time. Keep this in mind when creating items inside the Google Calendar.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: In HIP Office, click on your name in the top right corner and then select Account Setting from the menu.

Step 2: Click on the Sign in with Google Button.

Step 3: Sign in with your Google account and then click Allow.

Step 4: Select the Calendar from your account you would like to sync and click OK. (Optional: Click Create New Calendar to create a brand new Google Calendar to Sync With)

HIP Office will now be synced with the selected calendar. Continue to Step 5 to Enable the two way sync from Google Calendar to HIP Office.

Step 5 (Optional): Click on the Enable Two Way Sync Toggle Switch and then Proceed.

The two-way sync will now be enabled.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues:

Items do not appear to be syncing: Try to sign out of the sync on the Application Setting page and resync. If it is one order that does not sync go into Orders-View Orders and click on the Order Number this should force HIP office to sync the Order. If it still doesn’t seem to sync, Contact Support.
