S-Mode in Windows 10 and 11 is a security feature that prevents applications from being installed from anywhere other than the Microsoft Store. Currently, HIP Desktop is not available to be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Store. To be able to install HIP Desktop, your PC must not be in S-Mode.
