Note: The template set as the default template cannot be deleted from the PC. Deleting the template set as the default will cause HIP to have an Error when launched. If you need to delete the template set as the default, you must first set a new default template.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: In HIP Desktop, click on Open Template.

Step 2: Select the template to set as the default and click Open. You can look through the template to confirm this is the proper template with any customizations.

Step 3: Click Save Template.

Step 4: Confirm your customized template is highlighted in the list of templates. Then, check the box at the bottom of the screen that says "Check the following box to make this the default template...". When Prompted click Yes.

Step 5: Click Save.

Troubleshooting

There have not been any reports of issues setting a default template. To make sure your default template is set, close HIP and then open it again to see if the default template you set opens when the program launches.
