Quick Notes

Notes are a great way to tag or categorize your comments. The report will not show the notes. The Notes are there for your benefit only.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: In HIP Desktop, browse to the section and subsection for the panel whose comments you wish to add notes to. Add a comment or double click a comment to bring up the comment editor.

Step 2: Place your cursor and Click the Add Note button on the toolbar. You can type your note inside the [[Note]] brackets that appear. Once finished click OK.

Note: As with any change to your comment section, be sure to Save your Template when you are done editing and upload to Mobile.

Example Use Cases

You can use notes to Categorize your Comments (ex. [[Electrical]], [[HVAC]] ).

You can use notes to add reminders (ex. [[Must Answer]] ).
